Publication Day, Launch Day & Giveaways

Today is Publication Day for The Silver Locket by Margaret James. I loved this book and to find out more about it, you can read my review over at Bookersatz.

To be in with a chance of winning a signed copy, please leave a comment either here, or at Bookersatz, or if you want to increase your chances of winning, why not leave a 'pick me' comment in both places. You have until Friday, 5th November at 6pm to do so.

Today is also Launch Day for Phillipa Ashley's debut US novel, Dating Mr December, which has already been made into a film there. Dating Mr December is the US version of her fab book, Decent Exposure.

To be in with a chance of winning a signed copy of the US edition wherever you live in the world (it's one of Phillipa's author copies) please visit her blog or her Facebook Author page and let her know you'd like to be entered into the draw.

I thoroughly enjoyed both these books and can't recommend them highly enough. Right, I'd better get on with my NaNo book, otherwise I'll never get to 2,000 words, never mind the 50,000 I need to produce.

I would love to win a copy of Margaret James book, please Pick Me! Though I do understand if you can not as I now live on Lanzarote in the Canary Isles. But please wish both Margaret and Phillipa great success, all that work deserves recognition.

Yes please pick me!

Hope NaNo is going well. I'm doing Art Everyday month which can basically include any art form which gives me daily flexibility. Its been great as I've been introduced to so many inspiring people.

Happy writing.

Now that winter is coming on it's the perfect season to get lost in some of these great war romances--especially WW I and II. I love it when films are made from the books as well--a double helping! All your title recommendations are going to make me very popular with Amazon.

I enjoyed your review but didn't ask to get in the drawing. Thought Grumpy might complain about overseas postage. :-)

Hi Debs

I just found out that I won Phillipa's book. Lovely!

But I don't want to be greedy so please could you remove me from the 'pick me' for Margaret's book.

(No offence to Margaret's book of course!!)

bernadette - congratulations on winning Phillipa's fabulous book. Having read it (twice!) I know you'll love it.

I'll remove your name from the competition. x
