Phew, It's The Weekend...

Here's a picture of the Abercrombie & Fitch model. Please excuse the strange picture, but I've had to cut my daughter from the photo (despite the huge grin on her face when she was photographed).

Lovely chap and so sweet when I went to take the picture and pressed the Off Switch instead, causing him to have to stand for longer than he should have needed to whilst I switched the camera back on again and figured out how to actually take a photograph!

And finally...

Here's the picture of the Art Deco house. Isn't it gorgeous?

We had a wonderful roast chicken supper outside this evening and thankfully it looks like the weather is going to be glorious again this weekend, so I fully intend to make the most of it, which basically means making the most of my lovely son before he returns to university on Monday (sniff!), driving my daughter to various parties and drinking coffee in my sister's glorious garden, then going home and reading, editing outside at home.

Have a fabulous weekend.x

Lovely model and gorgeous house.

A friend of my daughter's persuaded us to take her to the Jack Wills shop once. I'd never seen anything like it - FOURTEEN POUNDS for a pair of ordinary pants. No topless models, but it was very obvious they only employed beautiful young people. I've never felt so old and inadequate in my life.

Hope you have a great weekend, too.

Hmmm, well, I can quite understand the huge grin on your daughter's face ;)

you have a great weekend too Debs

PS keep meaning to ask you, are you off to Caerleon again this year??

Glad you've had some time out to enjoy yourself and celebrate your birthday and other festivities.
Nice photo!

Looks fabulous, lovely lines, beautiful shape...hang on, do I mean the house or the lad? Ummm....

And I second the Jack Wills comment, my younger son and second daughter are HUGE fans and think there's nothing wrong in charging £100+ for a pair of shorts!

Now he's a handsome (and toned) young man! Lovely house. Enjoy your weekend and time with your son.

Both equally gorgeous... whoa. Have a great weekend!

suzanne - I think the only reason I didn't feel too bad in A&F was a) I was still a bit stunned by the gorgeous model (and others there) and b) it was rather dark and perfect lighting for me.

bluestocking mum - thanks.

No, I'm not going this year as I'm off to Paris a week or so before and couldn't do both, unfortunately.

chris - I've had a fantastic time, thanks.

jane - I think you mean the model, don't you Jane!?! I know I was rather impressed with his lines.

I can't get over the cost of these things. I'm always staggered when I get outside and realize how much I've paid for my daughters clothes.

rosemary - thank you, I will do.

talli - thanks, you too.

What a healthy young man :)!

And the house is gorgeous. Have a wonderful weekend!

In another fifty years he will be wearing his trousers half way between his chest and his navel (he said without a hint of jealousy).

PS : Personally I think the house would look nicer in white but I still love the design.

Debs Carr said...

Gran - my thoughts exactly :)

Troy - But for now he looks rather scrumptious...

Troy - I agree with you about the colour, white would be nicer.

Hi glad you had such a lovely birthday. But can you please tell me why the nice looking young man is topless and what is A&F? Sorry I am a bit out of touch with London, fashion etc!!!

That house looks fabulous. I want one just like it. As for the model, well I couldn't possibly comment as I am old enough to be his mum and it would feel inappropriate. *stares at photo a little longer*

madeleine - I think so too.

sheepish - I've no idea why he's topless, I think it's some sort of extra attraction to get shoppers into the shop. A&F is Abercrombie & Fitch clothes. My daughter loves the clothes, which are fabulous, but expensive.

dj - I want one just like it too, it's so gorgeous.

I did feel the same way about the model too. My daughter, on the other hand, had no problem beaming at him.

Oh Debs, now that's a hunk! What a way to start of my day... :)))

Enjoy that son and all the rest of the activities! Love that house too!

Debs Carr said...

anna - he is rather lovely, isn't he?

I've had a great time seeing my son and now have to wait until June for him to come home again. Sigh.

Melissa Marsh said...

Oh my! That is QUITE lovely, er, and so is the house!

Debs Carr said...

Melissa - isn't it :)

Liane Spicer said...

My grin would be wider than your daughter's if I got to take a photo with him. Now if we had a few topless models in stores here I might be persuaded to stop doing all my shopping online.

Oops. He's probably my son's age. Naughty, Liane, naughty!

Debs Carr said...

liane - he was so sweet and it certainly made waiting in the queue very worthwhile.
