Where did it go? Don't tell me that was it? Those few balmy days with that bright yellow ball thing in the sky? I was raring to go, feeling jolly, in the mood to take summer by the ??? hand? and make the most of it, only I didn't realize it would be so damn short. Can you tell I'm not a little ray of sunshine today? Nevermind, it's mid-week, and soon the weekend will be upon us. I can't wait.

Those few warm days seem like a distant memory now. I want them back!
I even shaved my legs and stopped wearing tights!
We've had a lot of cloudy days lately, too. But I love cloudy days, so I'm doing good!

Oh I do understand-- when it rains and gets chilly, I don't like it a bit. Where's the sun, I want to know too!

Oh, it is so depressing. I'm going on a writing break in the south-west of England next week, chosen because the weather was likely to be good there in June. Currently they're forecasting single-figure daytime temperatures and possible ground frosts at night. Just as well I'm travelling by car because I think I'm going to need to take many, many clothes...
Well, according to my friend (another Debs) we are supposed to be getting a heat wave this year!! I have no idea where she got this piece of information from but I am clinging to the hope that she's right!!!

Of course I hope you have a really l-o-n-g HOT summer - but if you could just fix it for the sun to shine at the end of Sept (our only visit this year - not even coming over for the airshow - sob!) so that we can have another long lazy lunch at the Driftwood that would be WONDERFUL - sigh - can't wait... and it's MONTHS!!!
chris - The sun came out yesterday, disappeared, and now it's back. Apparently this summer should be stinking hot, I do hope so. I can't believe TBT is missing the airshow this year. Looking forward to a long lazy lunch though, that's always fun. x
No I can't believe we're missing the airshow either! It's because he's no longer a TTT and has to take different grown-up hols that fit in round b***** work things - grrr... Looking forward to lunch though!!! x
