Sicknote & a Quick Quiz

While I was out this morning R phoned to tell me that the dog wasn't at all well and that he'd booked an appointment with the vet. By the time I returned home, G was bouncing around as normal, nose wet once again and looking perfectly happy, so I cancelled the appointment. Half an hour later and he was lethargic, lying down, dry nosed and feeling thoroughly sorry for himself so we rebooked the appointment. One trip to the vet, a thermometer put in a place that made G's eyes widen and S-S#4 and S giggle and he was declared perfectly fine. He isn't on top form but is seemingly recovering from whatever ailed him.

So on that delightful note, here's a quick quiz. As you can see I'm Comic Sans. I'm not sure I appreciate being called a goofball or overwhelming! So, what font are you?

You Are Comic Sans

You are a nothing but a big goofball. You're quite playful and fun!

You're widely known for your zany personality and your vivacious attitude.

To say that you stand out in a crowd would be a definite understatement.

Remember that you are overwhelming at times and that people appreciate you best in small doses.

Aw I always love a Grumpy photo. Glad he's feeling better.

I'm 'Impact' apparently which is a very ugly font. Would rather be a 'goofball':-)

Awh, poor Grumpy, he's lucky to have people who care about him. I'm Helvetica...apparently I'm boring and generic!!!

Loads of hugs to Grumpy xxx

Phew - thank goodness Grumpy is ok. Give him an extra cuddle from me. I'm Palantino (sp?)- basically an arty show-off, shallow, and really not a very nice person... sigh...

It says I'm Times New Roman, which is interesting considering that is my favorite font to write in. I guess it works.

Awww, I'm glad he's recovering from whatever it was that was ailing him!!

I'm Palantino - Apparently I consider yourself to be creative and artistic and I'd like everyone else to know it! (Cor, I sound like a real charmer eh!!)

Goofball here as well. In my working days remember getting all huffy because comic sans was not installed on my computer--wanted it for my "play writing".

Sorry the Grumpy is not 100%. Don't you just love that wide-eyed look when they're being plundered? My boy Willie just plops on his butt when I try to do any "intervention" in that area.

So glad the vet said Grumpy was fine :-)
I'm Palatino - it doesn't really sound like me though. :-0

lane - thanks, poor thing wasn't at all happy.

I've had to see what Impact looks like as I haven't seen that one before.

yvonne - I think he could have done without the visit to the vet as far as he was concerned.

I've no idea what Helvetica looks like, my system doesn't appear to have it.

helenmh - thanks, poor him.

chris - Poor him, I was very concerned yesterday morning when R said he was so unwell (as I know you can imagine) and am happy to have him almost back to his old self.

You are a certainly neither a show-off nor shallow, but you are one of the loveliest people I know.

chad aaron sayban - now that is a font that I do recognize as well as write in.

carol - thank you, poor little thing, he was 14 inches of quivering wreck yesterday morning.

You are creative & artistic and lovely with it.

faye - Willie sounds rather more organized that Grumpy when it comes to vets, clever thing.

annie bright - thanks. The Palantino description doesn't sound very kindly at all.

Poor Grumpy I think there is something in the water that one of mine has gone rather strange (nothing new there)

Would you ever believe I'm IMPACT - no me neither!
I'm sure you can guess who this is!

I'm Times New Roman!

So glad doggie is okay. I've heard of that before where a dog has been perfectly well then lethargic within about half an hour. They do like milking our TLC. But because they can't talk to us, we can never be too careful can we.

Glad to hear your pup-tart is okay.

I'm Helvetica. People may think I'm boring and generic. (But I'm not.) ;o)

A - poor little thing, she's just a bit confused, that's all.

Rach is impact too. So amusing.

crystal jigsaw - he certainly tried it on with me as I'm such a pushover and fret if he's not well.

kerry - I know, it isn't very nice for the poor thing. He wasn't at all amused, as you can imagine.

jj - I shall look forward to reading that and see what it says.

b e sanderson - thanks, pup-tart is bouncing around all over the place today.

I'm sure you're not either.

I've had the children do that in the past - at death's door one minute and bouncing about the next! Not with a wet nose though...

I'm Impact, which makes me unique and striking. Apparently.

I'm Arial Black, apparently because I'm 'not as passionate as people might think' and 'just enjoy overwhelming other people'. Hmmm...

Aw! Cute picture! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I really appreciate it! If you'll excuse me, I'm about to see what font I am! :D

Deborah Carr (Debs) said...

karen - my sister and friend are both Impact too, they're pretty striking and unique too.

The dog is back to his old self - for now!

zinnia cyclamen - I would love to know who thinks of these quizzes and decides the descriptions.

ellie - thanks for the comment, hope you enjoyed the quick quiz.

Whew! SO glad Grumpy is ok. I reckon making you worry was his way of paying you pack for getting him clipped, Debs.
I'm Impact, too. But, as I usually do, I answered as truthfully as poss the first go, then after it said what I am I went straight back on and changed some answers. Impact again - hmm, it must be right.

So glad Grumpy is now OK Debs. Holy shit! I'm a Palatino this can't be me surely not! (You consider yourself to be creative and artistic. And you'd like everyone else to know it!You take design and aesthetics seriously. You like everything in your life to be unique and beautiful - but never gaudy!)

I think you must be Impact then. LOL.

tom foolery - thanks. I love these descriptions, no idea how they were thought up though.
