Getting Motivated

Your Word is "Think"

You see life as an amazing mix of possibilities, ideas, and fascinations.

And sometimes you feel like you don't have enough time to take it all in.

You love learning. Whether you're in school or not, you're probably immersed in several subjects right now.

When you're not learning, you're busy reflecting. You think a lot about the people you know and the things you've experienced.

I couldnt resist this quiz. Any excuse for a bit of displacement activity, and I wouldn't mind, but it's not like I've been able to write before now (work, school run, etc). So I really should get on with it while I can.

Finished, Devil May Care, and loved it. It isn't something I'd ordinarily think to read, but J insisted - well if your son buys you a book for Christmas, the very least you can do is read the darn thing. I've persuaded R to take it with him when we go on holiday later in the year. To say R isn't much of a reader (he'd rather go off and do things) is a bit of an understatedment. He started reading a book in May 2006 on a holiday in Rhodes, and is still only a quarter of the way through. When I suggested that he should forget about it and find something more to his taste, he insisted that he was actually enjoying this book!?! Who am I to argue.

I've now started, A Winter's Tale by Trisha Ashley. I've loved all of her books and this is going to be no exception by what I've read so far.

I signed up (yes, more displacement activity) with GMTV's Mr Motivator, and I'm hoping he'll inspire me to keep heading towards some semblance of slimness/healthiness, etc. One can but try.

You see life as precious, and you wish everyone was safe, happy, and taken care of.
PEACE

Social justice, human rights, and peace for all nations are all important to you.

OH Yes Indeed. TF, is a strong believer in the above statement)

While you can't stop war, you try to be as calm and compassionate as possible in your everyday life.
You promote harmony and cooperation. You're always willing to meet someone a little more than halfway.

May peace be with you Debs :) TFx

Mine was 'love', and the comment seems to fit. Thanks for pointing me to it.

My word is 'Love'. Who'd have thought it:-)

Had to laugh at J's reading habits. He's obviously a 'doer':-)

Good luck with Mr Motivator. I was watching that too this morning:-)

I hope you're enjoying the new book!

Really I've just dropped by to say hi and hope you're enjoying '09 so far. I've been a shockingly bad blogger and an even worse commenter so am hoping to do better this year. xx

My word was antidisestablishmentarianism
which rather took me by surprise.

(No, actually it was "THINK" as in great minds like)

Mine was 'Why?' which pretty much sums me up!

Why do men not get reading? Richard is just the same. After 18 years together I have never known him read a proper book, certainly not fiction.

My word would be 'help'. I like to give it if I can and I certainly need a lot of it.

I'm trying to stay motivated on the healthy/weight loss thing, too. I plan to go work out tonight and I've been trying to limit my dark chocolate. ;-)

I love a quiz me! My word is WHY which if said in a high pitched whine is pretty apt.

My word is Fearless, which can't be right! I must have answered something incorrectly :o)
