It's The Weekend & Earth Hour

It's been a busy week this week both at work and finalizing edits at home. Now though it's the weekend and my edits are finished, so I'm going to relax and take it easy for a few days. One of the first things I'm going to do is watch Made In Dagenham and then I'll finish reading Julia Couch's excellent novel, Cuckoo and start reading Kate Johnson's, The Untied Kingdom. Bliss.

The weather has been glorious all week and if it holds, there's a gorgeous Art Deco house I discovered a few months ago that I want to show to Rob. So we'll walk the grumpy one to see it. We can only look at it from a distance, but it's near the beach and we can at least walk past it and have a quick look across the garden.

Don't forget it's Earth Hour, Saturday 26th March 8.30pm - here's more about it.

What are you doing this weekend?

Have a great one, Debs!

I'm in Somerset staying with friends, off out for breakfast in a little while (I love going out for breakfast!!!), going to a big family party tonight and generally having lots of fun. It's sunny here, too; doesn't it make SUCH a difference.

Dodging raindrops today, hanging out with the plethora of family gracing all the sleepable spots in my house! Also some coffeecake consumed this morning, and like you, no work; sometimes a break is so necessary! :))) Have such a great weekend yourself!

Spring has not quite arrived in Scotland yet - so I won't be spring cleaning - I will however be glad to put the hour forward on Sunday and have lighter evenings.

anna - I hope the rain stops soon, but I'm sure that coffee cake managed to cheer up a drizzly day.

pauline - will download the pictures soon and post them.

gran - so many people in my area appeared to follow Earth Hour, it was very dark and so good to see.

Janice - I'm glad to be putting the clocks forward too. Roll on summer.

phillipa - yum, that bacon sounds divine even if it was 10 degrees C out there. Brave girl!
