Remembering the bravery of those who were killed on that fateful day 10 years ago and the families and friends who've had to live with the consequences of the actions of a few. Also to those who've been killed since that date in the fight against terrorism.
I think what happened that day changed all of us in some way.

Very true - I remember listening to the radio in horror as the towers tumbled down. Something about the security of our world was destroyed inside of me.
I can't believe it was ten years ago. It still seems so unbelievably shocking even after all this time.
I agree Debs it seems no time at all. We had a day on the boat so were out sailing, blissfully unaware of what was going on - I remember it well.
I remember being online at the time of the first plane and thinking I was watching a film being made. It certainly changed the way we viewed the world.
Flowerpot - What an unpleasant way to end such a lovely day out.
rosemary - I still feel like it's a bit of a dream. So horrendous.
Thanks for these kind words, Debs. I watched Sunday's remembrance ceremony in New York at the newly completed memorial. It was so quiet and dignified--and the loss was still there even though people were trying to move on with their lives.
Faye - It's hard to imagine it all happened ten years ago. So surreal even now.
