Happy Indpendence Day to those of you who are celebrating today. I hope you like the picture of my husband's Stars & Stripes flag. Usually we have the Jersey flag flying, but on 4th July each year he hoists the American flag for his grandfather who was born in the USA.

Even for those of us who don't officially celebrate Independence Day, it's a reminder of how fortunate we are to live in the 'free' world. It may not feel like it sometimes, but we are the lucky ones.
